There's a long-distance train rolling in the sun.
Crazy bullet of a gun.
There's a face she longs to touch,
He misses her so much.
In the rain.

She's not the kind of girl you can console.
But she sometimes fails in her control.
All she's ever wanted...
it's some cherries on her plate
In the rain.

She slowly stopped and chewed into the flesh
Of the delicious and forbidden fruit
With the juice running down her breast
The rainbow plays upon her.
In the rain.

She stopped the clocks, she began to write the book
In spite of all she knew, she never understood
That Sacrifice was the only code of the road
In the rain.

Cherry stones scattered all around,
No tree can grow from this dusty ground
No juice left, in the place
Only thousands pages
In the rain.

An old lion sleeping in a cage.
A tired woman in a rage
Wrinkles on her pretty face
Now her beauty's fading,

Tears on the flowers that he holds.
